• Free Software For Your Flash Drive- Software can be expensive but thanks for this list of free software, students of all ages can save some money when upgrading or maintaining their computer.  There is a wide variety of software included in this list, including OpenOffice which can be used instead of Microsoft Office.
• 69 Free or Open Source Tools for Students – Online College lists a plethora of resources that students can use to accomplish a variety of things, ranging from social networking to research.  There area ton of great applications and websites on this list that will definitely have an impact on the life of a student.

Zen Habits - I’ve talked about Zen Habits before and I feel as if it is one of the best websites in relation to productivity, personal happiness, and goal achievement.  Updated daily, Zen Habits provides a nice blend of information for any type of reader and does not solely focus on one group (ex. parents, students, singles, etc.).  I’d seriously recommend giving Zen Habits a try if you are trying to take hold of your life and really improve the way you spend your time.  Since the New year has just started, it’s a great time to dive into a site such as Zen Habits.

Get Rich Slowly - Get Rich Slowly is a great website for those of us trying to perfect the simple concept of personal wealth and savings.  Who couldn’t use some extra wealth over time, right?  Once again, this is a great resource for anyone trying to gain wealth, as a majority of the articles are written with concepts that any reader can understand.  The owner of the blog connects with readers due to the personal nature of his posts.  Not only does he give the reader valuable information, he also practices it to show that it works.

Money Smart Life - Money Smart Life is a great website for people who are trying to understand financial options and the solutions available for their type of situation, whether it be debt, investing, taxes, or anything else.  The site is catered mostly towards individuals who are married and/or have children but has a lot of good articles for those of us who do not fall into those categories.  Be forewarned: Money Smart Life has a lot information that could be confusing to readers who do not have a solid understanding of financial/money terminology.  To compensate, the website provides links to other websites where the terms are detailed further and can be explained.

Mashable.com - I recently stumbled upon this site, ironically, when I was searching for a site that had a lot of information which would be interesting and useful.  I’m a big fan of MakeUseOf.com but had exhausted all of their archives and needed another website for those slow moments on the job.  I came across Mashable and was quite impressed with the content and the relevance to any type of reader.  The website covers a lot of information, from web design to book selection, so it should be useful and interesting for almost anyone who visits.  When you visit, be sure to check out their Toolboxes/Lists section for awesome compilations of great websites.

Delicious.com- Many of you may have heard about this popular site but I recently gave it a try.  Famous for aggregating favorite websites from various Internet users, Delicious is a warehouse of links and information other web users have found relevant.  The main page is comprised of the most popular sites but visitors can sort the sites by using a tagging system built into the easy-to-use layout of the site.  Delicious is definitely a good resource for current and relevant information for pretty much any Internet user.

LiveMarks- LiveMarks is a bit different than the other two sites mentioned in this post.  Instead of waiting for bookmarked websites to be visited by tons of users or posted on a blog, LiveMarks serves as a feed for shared websites as they are selected.  There are a lot of websites which may be irrelevant but there are a few treasures that come through every now and then.  Since the information is updated practically every second, you’re bound to find something interesting.

As a side note, both Mashable and Delicious have an RSS feed if you would like to have updates sent to your RSS reader automatically.
