One of the most expensive things to do on the weekend is to go to the movies.  After you buy the tickets, buy the food, and remember that you just have to get those fruit snacks, your tab can come close to $40.  That’s not how much I really want to be spending every week or two.  Instead, I use Film Metro to attend free movie screenings.  Granted, they may not be on Friday or Saturday night, but that’s okay because it’s free!  All you have to do is register with the site (which is free), select what state you’re interested in, and then register for screenings that are listed as “Available.”  Once you register, you print out a pass for your and a guest, show up, and you’re good to go!  It’s that easy.  Some people/bloggers online have stated they have had problems with Film Metro screenings and attending the movie.  I can understand how this may happen (an overbooking, showing up late, etc.) but in the past year, I’ve never had an issue.  Enjoy!

Each week I’m going to be updating the site with my team rosters and how I did that week. I will also give a brief commentary on the events/highlights of that week in the NFL. So, without further ado, here comes week one! Continue Reading ->
